To celebrate the launch of our new website, we are offering subscribers to our Newsletter the chance to win a selection of prizes throughout the year.

The first competition is to win a Vodka Distillery Experience & Lunch for Two at Black Cow Vodka in Childhay, Beaminster.

Black Cow is the only vodka made entirely from grass-grazed cows milk, which results in an exceptionally smooth vodka with a unique creamy character. Their Pure Milk Vodka™ is made at The Black Cow Distillery, located right in the heart of Childhay Manor organic farm, a 13th-century Manor set in the beautiful rolling countryside of West Dorset on the coast of South West England.

Dairy farmer Jason Barber who together with Paul Archard started Black Cow in 2012, recognised the potential in what was left over from the milk after making cheese. Inspired by tales of Mongolian conquests in more ways than one, the journey to producing the world’s smoothest vodka began. As they say on their website: to the orthodox vodka makers, the vegans, our family and its 300 years of cheese making tradition, to the stockists that don’t know which shelf to put us on, and the government body that took 18 months to decide if a vodka made out of milk is actually a vodka… we’re terribly sorry!
