If you’re missing being able to go out for a cream tea, give this scone recipe a go using three store cupboard ingredients. This recipe uses cup measurements, so you can get the right ratio of wet and dry ingredients.

Ingredients:

3 cups of self raising flour
1 cup of cream
2 cups of lemonade

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Place all ingredients into a bowl and gently mix together until you have a dough.
  3. Roll the dough out on a floured surface. Roll into individual circles, place on a baking tray and bake for 15 minutes or until they are golden on top.
  4. Serve with cream, jam and a nice cup of tea!

 

You can also add dried fruit or cheese if you prefer.
