The Taste of the West Awards is the largest independent regional food group in the UK are look to promote and support food and drink producers from across the south west including Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire. Their aim is to champion food and drink producers in the West Country as well as the places that serve and sell them, proving that the South West really does produce the best of British food and drink.

The annual awards scheme ensures that high standards are maintained and winners are given award logos so customers know they are buying quality, local West Country products. The list of results from the first round of judging are now online for everyone to view, with stages 2 and 3 being announced in July.
