It’s been a busy new year for Langham Wine Estate not least because they have launched two new classic cuvee NVs.

The Culver is an elegant blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. The mix gives off bright aromas of red apple, plum, strawberry yoghurt and toasted brown bread. The palate has a fine mousse with orchard and stone fruit flavours, alongside a zesty acidity, nice salinity and a long finish.

The Corallian is a lively blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.  This blend creates subtle aromas of cut grass, with notes of oystershell and baked apple.

Owned by arable farmer, Justin Langham, Langham Wine Estate is a family-run vineyard and winery located on south-facing chalky slopes just outside Dorchester, Dorset. The 11 hectare vineyard was planted in 2009 with 40,000 vines of the classic varieties of Chardonnay, Pinot noir and Pinot meunier from which they produce a range of award-winning sparkling (and in exceptional years also still) wines.

Langham’s vineyard, tasting room and café (with indoor and outdoor seating) are open throughout the year for wine sales, food, tastings, tours and events. For more details on the tours and events, check availability on their official website.
If, however, you would like to visit to learn more about the fascinating process of making English Sparkling Wine or just to take some time out with family and friends in a beautiful (and dog-friendly!) setting, then the team at the vineyard look forward to welcoming you to Langham Wine Estate very soon!
