The West Dorset Vineyard Trail is a week long celebration hosted by Bride Valley, Furleigh Estate and Langham Wine Estate to encourage the public to visit all three vineyards (which can be done within one day or enjoyed over the week).
You can take guided tours (and self-guided tours at Langham Wine Estate) and do tastings at each winery.
There is also a competition open to all visitors over 18: simply answer a few questions on each vineyard to win 3 bottles of award-winning fizz. Questionnaires can be collected direct from the wineries.
See the flyer below to find out how you can get involved:
This is all to celebrate English Wine Week, which is a national campaign, designed to raise awareness of English wine across the country.
There are a wide range of activities which take place to celebrate English Wine Week, involving both retail and leisure outlets, and at the vineyards themselves.
English Wine Week starts over Spring Bank Holiday which is also half term holiday for most schools. It marks the start of the tourist season, and the vineyards themselves are waking up to the new growing season – there is plenty to see and enjoy.
