Small independent brewery and Member of Dorset Food & Drink, Eight Arch Brewing Co have exceeded all their expectations by winning an iconic eight awards at the SIBA South West Awards!

The Eight Arch Brewing Co, established in 2015 and based in Wimborne, won big at the recent SIBA (Society of Independent Brewers Association) South West Awards. According to SIBA, their vision is to deliver the future of British Craft Beer and each year they hold a judging and awards day celebrating Britain’s best. The awards, which this year took place in Newton Abbot, are now in their 27th year and featured over 69 different breweries from across the South West, entering across different categories.

The competition included large breweries with lots of experience such as
fellow Dorset Food & Drink Member, Palmers and Liberation, which in previous competitions, have been the one to watch. However, this year Eight Arch Brewing Co, arrived and achieved a plethora of awards.

The team at Eight Arch Brewing Co, are rightfully excited about their awards, especially as they only returned brewing to Wimborne after a gap of almost 80 years in 2015.
The break clearly did them good as they are now a national award winning brewery,  brewing for cask, keg and can. Beer fans need not miss out on sampling some of this award winning beer, Eight Arch operate a tap room every Friday from 4pm where all their available beeds are served, join them at their base on Stone Lane Industrial Estate in Wimborne. As well as a range of seasonal beers, the open tap rooms also include a range of street food producers to compliment the flavours.
