No.8 Cafe is an award-winning family-run cafe in the centre of Blandford Forum in North Dorset. Located on Tabernacle Walk, No.8 Café is open 8am – 4.30pm, six days a week and is dedicated to serving fresh, local, homegrown and homemade foods to all customers.
The menu offers a great selection of food and drinks, much of which is home made with home grown produce, including all the cakes and pastries, soups and even some of the soft drinks. The team are also pleased to champion local producers, using milk from Dorset in all their teas and baking as well as stocking Dorset Tea and a range of other locally sourced items. The menu also contains a number of gluten free and vegan treats, including the incredibly popular vegan sausages rolls which fly off the shelves whenever they make an appearance.
It isn’t just the home made pastries and cakes that prove popular, No. 8 Café also offers an Afternoon Tea which also regularly sells out.
Much of the menu is available to eat in or take away and for those of you choosing to take away, you’ll find your food and drink packaged in environmentally friendly, recyclable cups – just another way that Lucy and the rest of the team at No.8 Café is reducing their carbon footprint!
Serving great selection of food, drink and even just a chat, with a smile and a warm welcome, No.8 Café is the perfect place to stop off after a day exploring Blandford Forum and the surrounding areas. Offering an ever changing seasonal menu including home-made soups, sourdough toasties, breakfast rolls, savouries, cakes and hot and cold drinks, it’s no wonder that the café regularly wins awards locally for the quality of its food, drink and service. Most recently, the team were invited to a glitzy ceremony after being named finalists in the Blackmore Vale Taste Awards 2019.
