At Fluffetts Farm, we are passionate about great food and have been supplying the finest eggs without compromising the welfare of our chickens for the past twenty years. We are a family run business, established in 1998 with the aim of supplying high quality eggs and produce.
We believe in producing free range eggs in an authentic way; for us this means small flocks on carefully managed independent family farms. At present we run four flocks, amounting to 13,000 hens, on two sites, one situated on the edge of the New Forest and the other on Cranborne Chase. Being true to our values means a commitment exclusively to the free range sector.
Our girls lay their eggs, take shelter and roost in airy well-ventilated mobile houses and every day are free to explore acres of grassland on free draining gravel and chalk soils. Our 'Fluffetts' also enjoy plenty of indoor scratch area and perch space allowing all-weather dust bathing and natural bird behaviour.
Our eggs are hand collected twice daily while we grade each batch by date of lay to ensure our customers always get the freshest available. Our unique feed includes locally sourced wheat to which we add Paprika, Marigold and Alfalfa to create a delicious award winning Natural Yolk Egg.
Fluffetts have a widely recognised local profile, being active members of Hampshire Fare, The New Forest Marque & Dorset Food and Drink, and since 2018 have been supplying eggs to some of London's best restaurants. Our farms and packing station are audited under the Laid in Britain quality assurance scheme guaranteeing the highest standards of food safety and bird welfare.
Opened in Spring of 2018 our popular local produce shop Fluffetts HOME can be found in Wimborne Minster stocked with the best of local Honey, Oil, Milk, Eggs and more.
